Gravely
® is strengthening its commercial mower portfolio with enhancements to its flagship Pro-Turn
® lineup and the introduction of an all-new Pro-Turn series. Together, the updates provide landscaping professionals with expanded options across the commercial segment while delivering greater comfort, performance, and long-term value.
“These launches reflect our commitment to developing products around our customers’ needs,” said AriensCo Chief Revenue Officer Stephen Ariens. “Listening to feedback from professionals and understanding what matters most to them is central to how we shape our product portfolio with high-value equipment that keeps operators comfortable and productive.”
Pro-Turn Line-up refined for productivity and operator comfort
The new Pro-Turn 400, Pro-Turn 400X, Pro-Turn 600, and Pro-Turn MACH ONE replace the previous
Pro-Turn 300, 500, 600, and MACH ONE models with a series of enhancements designed to bring more comfort, confidence, and efficiency to each workday. Highlights of these refinements include:
- Redesigned cockpit positions operators lower in the machine, creating an improved center of gravity for a more planted feel across hills and uneven terrain.
- Vertical-pin height-of-cut adjustment system.
- Wider rollover protection structure (ROPS) contributes to a more commanding appearance.
- Suspension seat options tailor ride to different operators’ needs: Full suspension seat adjustable to operator weight is found throughout all Pro-Turn 400 and Pro-Turn MACH ONE models, air-ride seats on Pro-Turn 400X models, and the Pro-Turn 600 retains Gravely’s Operator Pod System that separates the operator from the chassis to offset shock and vibration. Each is designed minimize operator fatigue, helping operators stay fresh, more alert, and productive.
Familiar durability with greater assurance and value
Like their predecessors, these models continue Gravely's legacy of durability through:
- Fully-welded, tubular steel frames.
- 7-gauge steel cutting decks with a reinforced leading edge.
- Strong warranty coverage. The Pro-Turn 400 is backed by a 5-year / 1,250-hour limited warranty, while the Pro-Turn 400X, 600, and MACH ONE carry a 5-year / 1,500-hour limited warranty. All have limited lifetime warranties on the deck shell and frame.
- Smooth and reliable Hydro-Gear® ZT-5400 commercial transaxles boost ownership confidence with warranty coverage that matches the machine warranties.
Best of all, these upgrades come without a price increase compared to predecessor models, further strengthening the long-term value of Gravely's flagship commercial zero-turns.
"A competitive price matters, but so does the value behind it," said Gravely Sr. Product Marketing Manager Cassie Johnston. "Professionals look for confidence in their investment, and giving a highly reputable transaxle a machine-match warranty is another way we deliver greater value and peace of mind to our customers. The bonus to our customers is we’re doing that while keeping prices flat compared to last year's models."
Proven performance features retained
With exception of the 60-inch MACH ONE, all models in the new lineup are available with 52-, 60, or 72-inch X-Factor
® 3 decks for professional productivity and cut quality. A sloped leading edge gives grass more recovery time, Gravely’s Constant Belt Tension (CBT) system self-adjusts to produce consistent blade-tip speeds throughout the life of the belts, and snap-lock belt covers remove quickly without tools for easy cleaning. Baffling in the 60-inch decks has also been updated to enhance cut quality, particularly in northern grasses.
Commercial Kawasaki
® FX engines remain at the top of the commercial lineup, ranging from the FX781EVO to the FX1000, with EFI options available on select models. Combined with Hydro-Gear ZT-5400 transaxles, the powertrain delivers ground speeds from 12 to 15 mph, and large 13.4-gallon fuel tanks means more time mowing and fewer fill-ups.
Protected, yet open engine compartments provide convenient access to maintenance points, including the oil drain, air filter and oil filter, simplifying service, minimizing downtime, and helping operators get back to work faster.
Updated Pro-Turn MACH ONE is the market’s answer for overgrowth
For contractors regularly managing overgrown properties, the updated Pro-Turn MACH ONE continues to have unique capability in the commercial mowing market. Built on the Pro-Turn 400X platform, the MACH ONE’s industry-exclusive High-Volume-Output (HVO) tunnel deck processes and discharges large volumes of material rather than recirculating it, keeping operators moving quickly through tall, thick and challenging mowing conditions.
New Pro-Turn series brings commercial mowing at an accessible price
Gravely is also introducing the new Pro-Turn series, a commercial zero-turn mower built for owner/operators, entry-level pros, and those ready to grow their businesses with equipment that keeps pace. Available in 48-, 52- and 60-inch deck widths, the Pro-Turn makes proven Gravely commercial features accessible for all, offering all-day capability and multi-season durability for a minimum advertised price just below $10,000.
“The new Pro-Turn gives landscapers a path into a commercial mower sooner than they may have thought possible,” said Johnston. “It delivers the durability, comfort, and performance professionals need while maintaining a highly competitive price point, and it allows them to level up into something that gives them the ability to maintain productivity through a full workday.”
While the Pro-Turn serves as the gateway to Gravely's commercial lineup, it incorporates many of the same premium features found on higher-tier models to deliver power, comfort, durability, ease of maintenance and cut quality. These include:
- Gravely’s 7-gauge X-Factor 3 deck with sloped nose, Constant Belt Tension, and snap-lock belt covers.
- A full-suspension seat adjustable to operator weight.
- Kawasaki FX engines (22-horsepower FX691V and 23.5-horsepower FX730V).
- Wide-profile ROPS, for a commanding stance and operator protection.
- Fully welded, tubular steel frame with automotive-style mandrel bends that maintain consistent wall thickness throughout the structure for strength.
Additionally, the Pro-Turn series features oversized, 23-inch tires for traction and stability, and a category-leading 10-gallon fuel tank capacity promotes more time mowing and less time stopping to fill up. It’s backed by a four-year / 750-hour limited warranty, plus limited lifetime warranties on the deck shell and frame.
“We talk with our customers to understand what’s important to them, and for the professional who’s just getting started, that’s access and assurance,” said Johnston. “Bringing proven engineering from our top commercial models into a more accessible package lowers the barrier to commercial ownership without compromising the reliability, durability and performance professionals need."
