AriensCo maintains 250 acres of green space on its corporate campus located in Brillion, Wis. The property, which is located between two of the company's manufacturing plants, serves multiple uses. In addition to manufacturing, the property supports wildlife habitat conservation, outdoor recreation, and agriculture. The company also dedicates swaths of the property to mowing, where new product designs can be tested in real-time.

A 2017 report from the Center for Biological Diversity revealed over 700 North American bee species are in decline, and about half of those are on the verge of extinction. It’s an alarming discovery considering the vital roles bees have to agriculture, the global ecosystem and world food supply.
As part of AriensCo's commitment to conservation, thousands of Buckfast and Carniolan bees have been given homes on the prairie surrounding the AriensCo Brillion campus. Our employee volunteer beekeepers tend the beehives throughout the year and collect their honey at the end of each summer. Proceeds from AriensCo honey sales are reinvested into beekeeping, other conservation efforts and AriensCo employee events.
A recreational trail offers public access to the property winding through prairie, woodland and marsh areas. The Run for Life Trail was dedicated to Mike Ariens who was an avid lifelong runner. The Run for Life Trail connects to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource’s Friendship Trail which ultimately connects to the Fox River State Trail that extends for another 25 miles.

As part of its conservation efforts, AriensCo manages the prairieland at its corporate campus for flowers and grasses that support hives of honey bees, native bees, and other pollinators. Native milkweed plants, in particular, provide habitat for Monarch butterflies. Company employees also keep honey bees and collect and process about 500 pounds of honey from two harvests annually.
